What is AABMR
Above and Beyond Mountain Rentals(AABMR) is a vacation rental management company that was established in January 2022. We began our journey as a vacation rental property management company because one of our clients we sold a rental property to was unhappy with his management company. He saw how we managed our rentals and noticed we did our personal touches that made our rental stand out; this unique touch led us to receive over 200 5-star reviews. So after some asking, we agreed to manage his property after we got the company up and were an official management company.
After taking on the one rental, we took on a few others, and the ones that were in a rental program saw a significant increase in profits compared to their previous company. We have a mission to provide exceptional service to all our vacation rentals and make sure that the owners and renters have an experience that they remember. The biggest thing that we believe makes us stand out as a vacation rental management service is that we intend to stay small, no more than 20 rentals, and were doing this because we want to be able to do our little touches, which a few are listed below. Currently, we are operating the Boone NC, Blowing Rock NC, and Beech Mountain NC areas, but also taking on properties in the vicinity.

Our goal is to give owners a rental program that allows them to experience their property when they visit. The biggest complaint we received about management companies is the owners would have to spend their vacation at their property performing maintenance and cleaning; My goal is to make sure the owners enjoy the property. We also utilize our unique approach to vacation rentals to produce more income and gain genuine five-star reviews from our guests.

We are a mother-son real estate team that started our real estate careers together in 2019 with Keller William High Country Realty. After Brandon’s second anniversary with Keller Williams High Country Realty as a full-time Realtor, he decided to obtain his Broker-in-Charge license. He started his real estate firm, which is now Above and Beyond Mountain Rentals (AABMR). Jennifer is the creative mind behind everything and has structured Above and Beyond Mountain Rentals as a very hands-on property management company. This approach has allowed us to discover new ideas and practices for vacation rental management that have tremendously impacted the rentals, owners, and renters’ experience. We are all fully licensed and insured and aim to go above and beyond on all our rentals.
